Save Money Charging Your EV
Charging at home is significantly cheaper than using most public rapid chargers.
By pairing your charger with an EV electricity tariff such as Octopus Intelligent Go or similar, many customers dramatically reduce their running costs by charging overnight.
If you already have solar panels or battery storage, we can also recommend chargers that intelligently use surplus solar energy to charge your vehicle.

Government Grants Available
The UK Government, through the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV), continues to offer grants to help reduce the cost of EV charger installations for eligible customers. From April 2026, several grants increased to up to £500 per socket and are available until 31 March 2027.
You may qualify if you are:
Renters
If you rent your home and have private off-road parking, you may be eligible for a grant covering up to 75% of the installation cost, capped at £500.
Flat Owners
If you own and live in a flat with dedicated off-road parking, you may also qualify for up to £500 towards your installation.
Residential Landlords
Landlords can claim up to £500 per socket, with grants available for up to 200 chargepoints each year across eligible rental properties.
Businesses & Workplaces
Businesses can receive up to £500 per socket under the Workplace Charging Scheme, for up to 40 sockets across their sites.
